Hi David, Sounds like a wiring issue. First off verify that you have at least 12.6 volts going TO the fridge. Then check the resistance on the 12 volt wiring on the fridge. It could be the switch itself or the wiring. Might be worth taking to a dealer to get them to test it. Regards, Nick
Hello again Ian,
I had previously replied to your question on your other comment, reposting here:
Hi Ian,
I’m not aware of any parcel shelf being available since there are so many different interiors. You would almost certainly need a custom one since it cannot lift like a hatchback and could be reduced width if you have a wardrobe or other furniture inside.
A local joiner may be able to assist or have a go yourself – we ended up making our own interior as we could not work out how to draw up our thoughts! Four years later and it is still there.
Regards,
Nick
Hi – i’m a “newbie” to the club and looking forward to joining in on all the fun and games! Just got to get my T2 on the road. It is a 1974 T2 Campervan and is undergoing significant remedial cutting, welding, and grinding at the moment so, thinking of the colour scheme is a distant aspiration. However, we (my wife and I) were at the Busfest in Malvern a few weeks ago and saw a lovely van in the colour we would like to work towards. The owners said it was “Gelb Grau” (which i believe translates to yellow-grey) and had a code of H7T. I can’t find this listed anywhere – can anyone help with a paint code? Thx
Does anyone have any thoughts as to what could be the problem with the fridge in my bus, it works on gas and 240v but not on 12v.

Hi Howard, Apologies, this post did not flag up to me for some reason. Can you recall the name of the member? We can ask around.
Thanks,
Nick

Hi Bob,
Super star, thank you for that. I have made your reply visible and have manually emailed Howard with the detail as well.
Thanks,
